Full form of CBSE- Central Board
of Secondary Education
Introduction
CBSE is the institution which
conducts exams of secondary education. It is the central board which affiliates
schools to conduct examinations by which the pattern of the examination will be same
throughout the country. Now, CBSE also conduct exams for graduation like AIEEE.
Background
This institution formed on 3rd
November 1962. This institution was formed because every state stated their own
board to conduce examinations. This will make a complex gap between the
students of different states, so the government made this institution to set a
standard for all students. The Uttar Pradesh Board (UP Board) was the oldest or
the first Indian board started.
Working Area
Examinations shall be conducted
internally by the schools themselves till Class IX. In Class X, the students
get first chance to appear in Board Examination. In Class XI, once again
examinations shall be conducted internally by the schools themselves. In Class
XII, the students have to appear in Board Examination. And this is the
final step of the school life for a student.
Board Examination
During board examination, all the students of a school have to go to the other school to give their exams, the allocation of schools is randomly done by the CBSE specialized teacher panel. After the exam, the paper will checked by a teacher. Also, the teacher is not from the school of the students neither from the exam conducted school.
Last Decision Implemented on Class X Board Exam
But on 31 August 2012, HRD
Minister Honorable Kapil Sibal declared that the Class X Board Examination is not
mandatory. After this decision, the entire student appearing in Class X Examination has an option to choose whether he/she wants to give the board
exams or not. Also he implemented the grading system.
